Steven Lopez, DDS
A native of San Antonio, TX and former Army officer, Dr. Steven Lopez graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1995. He served as an adjunct faculty member of Marquette and Dental Director at Scenic Bluffs in Cashton until entering private practice in 2003. In 2006, he and his wife, Amy, established Lopez Family Dental with a mission to provide exceptional dental care in a relaxing, family friendly environment.
Dr. Lopez is passionate about dentistry. He loves to see the physical transformation that occurs when his patients see their smile for the first time and, more importantly, witness them grow in self-confidence and emotional strength over time. He also loves to hunt, fish, play tennis and racquetball, and enjoys the outdoors. Dr. Lopez and his wife have eight children.

Our Hygienists
Marcia Steele, RDH
I graduated from the Madison Area Technical College in 2000 with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene. Upon graduation, I also earned my certificate to administer anesthetic. Prior to becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist, I received a certificate in Dental Assisting from WTC and worked as an assistant for 2 years. I truly enjoy the rewarding results that I can deliver to patients whether their oral health is excellent or compromised. I believe that hygienists are instrumental caregivers, aiding our patients not only in improving their oral health but their overall health, as well. I feel privileged to share my skills at Lopez Family Dental, where I have worked since 2006. I am originally from the Cashton area, and I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children, traveling, shopping, reading, watching movies, and baking.
Rosemary Erickson, RDH
In 2000, I earned associate degrees in Science and Dental Hygiene from Western Technical College, and I have worked in the dental field for over 25 years. It is a joy to listen to our patients and educate them based on the needs or concerns they express. I am a native of Sparta and have three married sons and 2 grandchildren. I love family dinners and any time spent with my family. In the summer, I enjoy gardening and being outdoors.
Sandra "Sam" Mitchell, RDH
In my thirty years as a dental hygienist, I have worked in many different practices, including private practice, a Native American reservation, for the State of Missouri, and as a temp hygienist as well. I joined Lopez Family Dental in 2018, and it has felt like home for me ever since. I have 3 daughters and 1 son-in-law. My hobbies are biking, camping, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends.
